“Daring to set boundaries is about having the courage to love ourselves even when we risk disappointing others”. - Brene Browne
When boundaries are blurry or loose, we do things we don’t want to do at the expense of our emotional and physical wellbeing. Having a functional boundary means taking responsibility for your own actions and emotions and NOT taking responsibility for the actions and emotions of others. Therapy can help you work on implementing safe boundaries that increase your wellbeing and promote happier, healthier relationships.
